SDS Authoring Under REACH Annex II

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is the primary hazard communication document for every dangerous chemical product placed on the EU market. Its content and format are governed by Annex II to the REACH Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2020/878, fully aligned with CLP classification and the GHS. A poorly drafted or outdated SDS is not just a paperwork issue, it exposes a business to enforcement action and to friction across the supply chain, since customers and distributors will not accept a product without one.

A Fixed 16-Section Structure

Every SDS follows the same 16-section structure, from substance or mixture identification through to transport information and applicable regulations. We compile each section from your product’s actual data, correct CLP classification, and current exposure limit values, so the document holds up under scrutiny from an authority or from a customer in another Member State.

When an Update Is Required
